Pappette,
2nd Oct
It took about 3 hours of rushing around to get to the surgeon who said the brain was all clear, no involvement at all!!!! SENSATIONAL. But there was a chip off the skull. We got a certificate saying "fit to travel" but were unable to get a copy of the scan as "the printer is broken".

We then did a short bit of touring around Papetee.

Blow hole. Last year this ran under the road, but there has been a rock fall. Now it has a new hole. Still impressive.

Who knew that there was salt water mud skipper type things up here. Well Andy did 'cause they had them in New Guinea when he lived there.

We totally understood the Dr point. He wanted to know EXACTLY what and where as we do have a 5 day trip!
The ship staff were brilliant! All so helpful. So grateful to them all.
Just to rub salt into Sarah's wound (as they say, cause to actually do it would be far to painful) because she has missed her SCUBA diving, some of the officers were diving at the gangway. Officers do an examination of the hull of the ship before every crossing leg.

Welcome back from Captain Wendy and John, Head of Security. John said "I hear you have fans!"

And to the people who don't do travel insurance. My rough estimate is around $2000 so far - and we have to go to the Dr every day for wound checks!
There was a Polynesian show that night that was good. Quite different to Hawaiian dancing.

Followed by another ridiculously finny night with...
FUN!!!!!! (not so much for poor Sarah though. She had a few very off days.)
